Loquat leaves are known for their health benefits. They contain oleanolic acid and ursolic acid, both have hypoglycaemic and antihyperlipidaemic effects. The leaves also contain significant amounts of complex sugars (polysaccharides) which directly benefit aquarium fish, shrimp, snails, Daphnia etc. Loquat leaves are also widely used in the preparation of oriental herbal teas as well as used as remedy for various skin diseases like itching, cough and nausea.

Your order will include 5 medium size dry loquat leaves. The leaves can be soaked, boiled and then added directly into the aquarium. The leaves can be left in the tank until completely eaten by the fish, or other aquarium animals like shrimp, snails, crayfish, and crabs.
